Amy Weber, who was born July 2, 1970 in Peoria, Illinois, has appeared in various TV shows and films since the early 1990s, but she is best known for her role as a WWE Diva for SmackDown!, a brand under the World Wrestling Entertainment. After attending a year at the University of Central Florida, Weber decided to pursue a career in acting and eventually moved to Los Angeles.

Weber landed her first job in LA as a model, appearing in both print and TV ads, including campaigns for Nestle, Wrigley’s and Miller Brewing Company. Amy Weber has trained with acting coaches and Hollywood veterans, including Darryl Hickman, Rick Goldman, D.W. Brown, Joanna Baron, Margie Haber, Michelle Danner, Ivana Chubbick, Larry Moss, John Short, Brian Reise, The Groundlings and Amy Lyndon.

Weber started her career on TV, appearing in numerous hit shows, such as “Saved by the Bell,” “Melrose Place,” “Baywatch,” “Seventh Heaven,” “The Young and the Restless,” and “CSI: Las Vegas,” among others. Amy also had recurring roles on the NBC series “USA High,” on MTV’s “Undressed,” on the ABC daytime soap opera “Port Charles” and the FX sitcom “Son of the Beach.” In December 31, 2004, Amy Weber appeared in the New Year’s Eve live show of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” wherein correspondent Tom Green roamed around New York City hunting for someone to kiss at midnight – Amy Weber was the one who agreed to do the deed.

In 2004, Amy Weber joined the second WWE Diva Search and although she only finished 4th place, Weber was signed by the WWE to become a villain diva and become a manager for Doug and Danny Basham, Orlando Jordan and John “Bradshaw” Layfield. On SmackDown, Amy Weber staged a feud with fellow Diva Search contestant Joy Giovanni. In February 2005, Weber resigned from WWE and pursued gigs from other industries.

Amy Weber has also starred in over a dozen films, such as “Scarlet Mirror,” “Diablita,” “Forbidden Games,” “Dr. Life,” “Kolobos,” “Transmorphers,” “Starforce,” “The Contract,” “Art House,” and “The Bet,” among others. Aside from playing the lead role on movies, Amy also served as producer on other films, such as “The Strangers,” “Spa Adventures,” and “In Da Cutz.” Through her company, ‘Amy Weber Productions,’ she also served as associate producer in the film “The Pumpkin Carver” and co-produced “What’s the Meaning of Love.”

Aside from films and TV gigs, Amy Weber has also starred in various theater productions, including “Grease,” “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?,” “Apocalyptic Butterflies,” “110 in the Shade,” and “Reservations for Two.” Weber has also been the face of the cosmetic company Shiseido and appeared in Toby Keith’s video for the song “Whiskey Girl.”
